French slate from Angers in the Loire valley – a beautiful looking natural and durable material. Best marked with a silver (M2S) or white pen (M3Fr.M or M9Sh.F) , (see ‘Label Marking – Marking Systems’ for M2S, M3Fr.M & M9Sh.F).
Will hang from legs LE1 or PE1 or PE2 (as in picture ‘… K Ashburner’), or can be tied to plant, stake, training wires etc with string, wire or flexi-tie.
Slate labels from others may well have originated from ‘East of Dubai’ – you may want to check provenance.
Useful in the wine cellar too!
